Daniel D. “Dan” Van Lue, 61, of Milford, IN passed away at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Goshen Hospital. He was born on May 14, 1959 in Adair Co., MO to Jack & Katheryn N. (Wright) VanLue.

He grew up in Wakarusa, graduated in 1978 from Northwood High School in Nappanee and lived most of his life in the Milford area. He was married on March 14, 1981 in Goshen, IN to Lesia G. Tyler who survives. He was a welder by trade and formerly worked at Bison Manufacturing in Milford, the Town of Milford, and the State of Indiana.

He was a member of the Sanctuary Church in Syracuse.

He is survived by:

Wife – Lesia VanLue of Milford

Daughter – Amber VanLue of Milford

Son – Bartholomew “Bud” (Mary) VanLue of Syracuse

4 Grand & 1 Gt. Grandson

Parents – Jack & Katheryn VanLue of Buchanan, MI

Sister – Leshia (Mike) Clanton Buchanan, MI

2 Brothers – Kenneth (Bett) VanLue of Buchanan, MI & Courageous VanLue of Niles, MI

He was preceded in death by his infant daughter – Cheyanne VanLue.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the Sanctuary Church, 10121 N. St. Rd.13, Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday in the church with Pastor Craig Fritchley officiating. Burial will take place in the Milford Cemetery. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN is in charge of arrangements.
