Danny A. “Dan” Brown, 75, of Cromwell, IN passed away at 2:45 a.m. on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at North Ridge Village Nursing & Rehab in Albion. He was born on September 4, 1940 in Cromwell, IN to Dennis H. & Barsha N. (Miller) Brown.
He was a lifetime Noble County area resident and graduated in 1958 from Cromwell High School. On July 14, 1961 at Broadway Christian Church in Kimmel, IN he married Diana Jo Baker who survives. He was a retired farmer & formerly employed as a supervisor at Superior Sample in Ligonier for 15 years.
He was a member of the North Webster Church of God, Wawasee Camp of the Gideon’s in Syracuse, and was an avid baseball player.
He is survived by:
Wife – Diana Brown of Cromwell
Daughter – Jackie Brown of Kimmell
Son – Dana (Amy) Brown of Cromwell
2 Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2016 in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Boyer of the church officiating. Burial will follow at the Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell.
