Darlene L."Dottie" Phillips

Darlene L. "Dottie" Phillips, 73, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 4:08 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at her home. She was born on January 8, 1944 in Warsaw, IN to Fred & Lorena Carol (Black) Boggs.

She attended North Webster High School and was a lifetime North Webster / Syracuse area resident. She was married on April 11, 1987 in Warsaw, IN to Larry D. Phillips who survives. She retired from Wawasee Electronics after 14 years and formerly worked at Stow & Davis Furniture in New Paris for several years.

She formerly attended the Church of God in North Webster.

She is survived by:

Husband – Larry Phillips of Syracuse

Daughter – Renee     Hively of Manistique, MI

Son – Raymond Hively of Chicago

2 Step Daughters – Tina (Larry) Mcafoose of Warsaw & Tanya (Trent) Gordon of Texas

3 Grand, 6 Gt. Grand, 4 Step Grand, and 3 Step Gt. Grandchildren

Brother – Danny Boggs of Warsaw

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017 at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Milford, IN.
