David Chauncey II, age 79, of Warsaw, passed away surrounded by his family at Paddock Springs Nursing Home in Warsaw on January 7, 2024. He was born to David and Jacqueline (Read) Chauncey on November 15, 1945 in Indianapolis, IN. He would marry his wife Faye Williams on July 13, 1968.
David enlisted in the Airforce, where he honorably served as Chief Master Sergeant working in munitions for 21 years. His commitment extended beyond his career as he proudly served during the Vietnam Conflict. After retiring from the military, he continued working at Chore-Time Brock in Milford.
As a graduate from Lawrence North in 1963. He enjoyed reading and frequently embarked on adventures camping and traveling in his beloved motorhome alongside his wife, Faye. David's curiosity also led him to enjoy metal detecting, a hobby that allowed him to appreciate the stories and histories hidden beneath the surface.
David is survived by his devoted wife, Faye Chauncey of Warsaw, and his loving children, Cindy Chauncey of Warsaw and Brad (Brandi) Chauncey of Columbia City. He also leaves behind a granddaughter, Megan Chauncey of Fort Wayne, who brought him immense joy.
Arrangements are entrusted to Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw, IN. Visitation will be held on January 15, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a funeral service with Pastor Michael Kendall officiating starting at 5:00 PM, both at the Church of the Brethren of North Webster, 7281 E 600 N, North Webster, IN 46555.
