David R. Frost, 80, of North Webster, IN passed away on Monday evening, April 26, 2010 in his home. He was born on June 3, 1929 in Lansing, MI to Donald & Lucille (McGee) Frost.
He graduated in 1947 from Everett High School in Lansing. He was married on May 27, 1950 in Macon, GA to Margaret E. Alligood who preceded him on May 2, 2002.  He retired in 1985 from Montgomery Ward in Fort Wayne after 22 years of service and was a self employed mortgage broker. He moved to North Webster in 2005 from Fort Wayne where he had lived since 1979.
He was a United States Air Force Veteran who served during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the North Webster American Legion Post 253. He was a former member of the Bethany United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne and Central Lions Club in Fort Wayne.
He is survived by:
Daughter – Mrs. Ken (Lindsey) Argerbright of North Webster
Son – Michael Frost of Flat Rock, MI
2 Grandchildren – Sara Christner & Ben Argerbright
Sister – Mrs. Robert (Donna Lou) Erikson of Libertyville, IL
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. David Smitley of the North Webster United Methodist Church officiating. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 30, 2010 in the Lindenwood Cemetery, 2424 W. Main St., Fort Wayne, IN.
Memorial bequests may be given to the Central Lions Club Leader Dog Program, c/o Linda Garfield, 6125 Midwood Dr., Fort Wayne, IN 46835.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
