David E. Saint, age 75 of Claypool and a longtime resident of Kosciusko County, passed away after a brief battle with failing health on December 19, 2022 at Lutheran Hospital, Ft Wayne.
Born in Sheffield, AL on January 28, 1947, David was the son of ONeal Saint and Edna Earl (Whitley) Saint. He was married to the late Karen K. (Randbottom) Saint on February 15, 1969. Together, the pair raised three children.
David was a former member of the Eagles in Warsaw and attended New Hope Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed being outdoors and could often be found walking anywhere he went. He was a sarcastic person who liked to joke around; he had a good sense of humor. He enjoyed old Westerns, Shuffleboard(he was in a league for several years) and was a First Responder with South Central EMS.
In addition to his wife, David was preceded in passing by a daughter, April Richards; a great-grandchild and two sisters: Theresa and Mary Evelyn. He is survived by daughter, Kay Zolman; son, Carl Saint; seven grandchildren: Daniel (Randie) Haab, Jazzmine Denz, Ariel Denz, Gene Denz, Zackary Saint, Shane Beverly and Marcious Trout and six great-grandchildren.
Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan St, Warsaw is entrusted with arrangements. Friends may gather there on Thursday, December 29, from 2 to 7 p.m. On Friday at 11 a.m., a funeral which celebrates David's life will be held; burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
