David C. Scott

David C. Scott, resident of Huntington, IN, passed away at Hickory Creek at Huntington Nursing Home on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at the age of 64. David was born on April 15, 1958 in Salem, IN, the son of Cody and Lillian (Kesterson) Scott.

A wayfarer and a wanderer, David worked as a laborer for the Bill Carpenter Amusement Carnival and traveled across the country. He enjoyed his work, camping, and country music, especially music by Loretta Lynn. David was a private man, and despite his brusque and surly personality, he loved his family.

David is survived by his mother, Lillian; children, David Jay and Amber Felver; many grandchildren; and siblings, Sam Scott, Steve (Susie) Scott, and Melissa (Dwayne) Knott. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. David was preceded in death by his father, Cody Scott; daughter, Crystal; brother, Randy; and his grandparents.
