David's commitment to serving others extended beyond his career as he served in the United States Navy from 1974 to 1975. He found joy in simple pleasures and had a passion for making people laugh. His interests included fishing, building model cars, collecting clocks, and watching fast action movies. David was a devout Christian who found solace in tuning into Joel Olsteen's sermons on Sunday nights.
David leaves behind his loving wife of 12 years, Nancy; their children, Coty Stump, Derek Stump, Shalena Brady, Jalena Cervantis, Tierra (Christian) Osbon, Christina Kiefer, and Walter Kiefer. He also cherished his 13 grandchildren who brought immense joy into his life. David is further survived by two sisters, Debbie (Kurt) Church and Diane (Jerry) Schuh. In his passing, he is reunited with his parents.
