David "Dave" Fugate

David “Dave” Fugate, 55, of Warsaw, IN passed away at 3:23 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at his home. He was born on December 22, 1962 in Hazard, KY to Walter & Evalee (Farler) Fugate.

He grew up in Kentucky and graduated from Dilce Combs High School in Jeff, KY. He moved to Indiana in 1981 and was married on November 18, 1994 in Warsaw, IN to Sheryl J. (Schweitzberger) Ward who survives. He was employed at Lippert Components in Goshen since 2004 and formerly worked for Kimble Glass in Warsaw for 21 years.

He is survived by:

2 Daughters – Shannon Watkins of Milford & Kari (Mario) Aguilar of Elkhart, IN

5 Grandchildren – Brittany Adkins, Jacob Schweitzberger, Brett Green, Zachery Gallup, and Kailyn Watkins

8 Gt. Grandchildren

2 Sisters – Norma (Kevin) Gipson of Peru, IN & Carol Caudill of Hazard, KY

3 Brothers – Gary (Marlene) Fugate of Warsaw, Bill Fugate of Oklahoma City, OK, & Jim Fugate of Burket, IN

Mother-in-law – Nancy Heuer of Hanover, KS

Sister-in-law – Debra (Luke) McLemore of Rochester, MN

2 Brothers-in-law – Darrell (Della) Schweitzberger of Salina, KS & Craig (Joann) Heuer of Texas

He was preceded in death by his parents, stepson – Shane Ward, 6 Brothers & sisters, and brother-in-law -Stephen Schweitzberger.

Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home. with Steve Angel officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN.
