David D. “Dave” Clayton, 80, of Warsaw, IN passed away at 1:40 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Mason Health & Rehab in Warsaw, IN. He was born on June 18, 1936 in Syracuse, IN to Eldon & Louise (Watkins) Clayton.
He graduated in 1954 from Leesburg High School and was a lifetime Kosciusko & Noble County area resident. He was married on September 20, 1995 in Kimmell, IN to Judy K. (Cook) Vincent who survives. He retired from Clausing Industrial in Warsaw & Goshen as a machinist after 55 years.
He formerly attended the Church of God in North Webster, was a former leader of Kosciusko County 4-H Horse and Pony, and was an avid fisherman & hunter.
He is survived by:

3 Daughters – Deb (Don) Minear of North Webster, Raetta (Manuel) Madriz of Eden Prairie, MN, Mary Ann (Joel) Vorndran of Columbia City, IN
2 Sons – James (Toni) Clayton & Ed (Judy) Clayton both of North Webster
2 Stepsons – Brad (Carla Snyder) Smith of Kimmell & Ron (Christy) Smith of Kimmell
13 Grand & 6 Gt. Grandchildren
3 Sisters – Betty Clayton & Dee Stetzel of Albion, and Eldonna (Randy) Warren of North Webster
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters – Rosalind Clayton & Sally Phillips.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Judy officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Private family burial will take place in the Leesburg Cemetery.
Preferred memorials may be given to the Riley’s Hospital for Children, 705 Riley Hospital Dr., Indianapolis, IN 46202.
