David Richard "Dave" Kessler

David Richard “Dave” Kessler, 73, of North Webster, IN passed away at 4:35 a.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at his home. He was born on November 21, 1943 in Flint, MI to Kenneth Richard & Lois Ada (Pardon) Kessler.

He graduated in 1962 from Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, MI. On September 22, 1978 in Pinckney, MI he married Vivian Mae “Viv” (Whitaker) Lindstrom who survives. He moved to the North Webster area in August 1983 from Stockbridge, MI and retired in 1997 after 30 years from the Dana Corporation in Chelsea, MI & Syracuse, IN.

He was a member of Church of the Brethren & Sons of American Legion both in North Webster. He was a former member of Lions Club in North Webster.

He is survived by:

Wife – Viv Kessler of North Webster, IN

Daughter – Cheryl Lynn (Pat Stahl) Kessler of Jackson, MI

Granddaughter – Katelynn Kessler Stahl of Jackson, MI

Step Sons - Kenneth Duane Lindstrom of Ann Arbor, MI & Larry Douglas Lindstrom of North Webster

Sister – Patricia Ann (Horest) Dupke of Brooksville, FL

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Church of the Brethren, 7281 E. 600N, North Webster, IN. Memorial services will follow on Saturday at 12:00 Noon in the church with Pastor Bob Wyman officiating. Private family burial will take place at a later date in the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Stockbridge, MI.
