Dawn E. Randall, age 65, of Pierceton, IN, passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday morning, October 22, 2020. Dawn was born on January 11, 1955 in Jasper, IN. She was the daughter of the late Ezra Jones and Maridean (Kraft) Jones. She was a graduate of Goshen High School. On September 17, 1983, she married the love of her life, Philip Randall. After having two children, she worked for 24 years at various schools in the Wawasee School District in the cafeteria where she fed and cared for so many kids. Dawn loved spending time with her family and grandkids, planting and landscaping, sewing and quilting, and going on vacation, especially to the Smoky Mountains. She was an active member of Dutchtown Brethren Church. She enjoyed having a house full of guests to feed and care for and made every holiday and occasion a special one. She was known for being a loving wife, a caring mother and grandma, and a true servant of Christ. Her life was spent serving others and bringing joy to those who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her family and her friends.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Philip Randall; her son, Justin Randall (Sarah); her daughter, Jessica Calhoun (Daniel); two grandchildren, Amelia and Drue; two sisters, Carol (Andy) Darznicks and Terri (Jim) Zimmerman; two brothers Timothy (Michelle) Jones and Jeffery Jones (Thomas Nelson). She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Rick and Rodney Warthan; and a sister, Shelly Guard.
Funeral services for Dawn will be on Tuesday, October 27 at 10:00 A.M. at Dutchtown Brethren Church, 4057 E. 300N, Warsaw, IN. The family will receive guests at the church on Monday evening from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Burial will immediately follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster is in charge of arrangements. The family is requiring people wishing to attend the visitation or service wear masks indoors.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Dawn Randall's memory to Dutchtown Brethren Church to be allocated to the Haiti Mission Fund.
