Biography
Debra Kay Starr, 53, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away Friday, December 20, 2013 at 6:08 PM in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
Debra, daughter of William and Ella Faye (Sexton) Gaylor was born September 18, 1960 in Columbus, Ohio. On April 16, 1976 in Clintwood, Virginia, she and Paul D. Starr were joined in marriage.
They moved to Warsaw in 1977 from Columbus. Debra was a core finisher with Dalton Foundries for 26 years.
She loved all children, her friends at Zales and her animals. She was a huge fan of the I LOVE LUCY show Debra was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Those who will miss her most and who will treasure memories for a lifetime are Paul, her husband of over 37 years; 2 daughters and sons-in-law: Debra Fay and Tom Long of Bourbon, Indiana; Chris and Todd Ryan of Silver Lake, Indiana; son: Bryan Andrew Starr of Warsaw; 2 grandchildren: Kaylee and Kyle Owens; sister and brother-in-law: Ella and Greenway Starr, Warsaw and brother and sister-in-law: Dwayne and Kimberly Chaffin of Columbus, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ella Starr and step father, Eugene Chaffin.
Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing in support of each other Monday, December 23, 2013 from 10 AM - 12 Noon at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A service celebrating the life of Debra Kay Starr will begin at 12 Noon. Pastor Larry Goss of Bourbon Bible Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
