Debra K. “Deb” Sparbel, 65, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at her home. She was born on September 21, 1952 in Elkhart, IN to Wayne & Delores (Cole) Boggs.
She lived most of her life in the Syracuse / Nappanee area and graduated in 1970 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse. She was married in 2002 to Duane L. Sparbel who survives. She formerly worked as a teller for various local banks in Goshen and Syracuse, legal secretary in Goshen, Yeager Photography in Syracuse, and formerly owned / operated Fulton Farmer Forum Restaurant.
She was a member of the Nappanee Church of the Brethren and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 223 in Syracuse.
She is survived by:
Husband – Duane Sparbel of Syracuse
2 Sons – Christopher (Amy) Beller of Warsaw & Brandon (Almalyn) Beller of Syracuse
Step-Son – Brian (Margo) Sparbel of Davenport, IA
6 Grandchildren
Sister – Karen (Ricky) Beaver of Syracuse
She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers – Brad & Mike Mishler.
No public services will be held at this time. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN is in charge of arrangements.
