Delbert Schaetzle

Delbert C. Schaetzle Sr., 94, of Bourbon, IN passed away at 9:39 p.m. on Friday, January 29, 2016 at his home. He was born on August 31, 1921 in Chicago, IL to Frank & Amy (Ritter) Schaetzle Sr.
He graduated from Bourbon High School in Bourbon, IN and was married on December 6, 1941 in Bourbon to Alice Irene Stutzman who preceded him on October 30, 2004. He retired from Bendix Corporation (now Allied-Signal) in South Bend, IN after 35 years.
He is survived by:
2 Sons – Delbert “Carl” Schaetzle of Bourbon & Joseph Schaetzle of Hudson, FL
3 Grand, 7 Gt. Grand, & 2 Gt. Gt. Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, grandson – Derk Schaetzle, 2 sisters – Dorothy Tyler & Lena Askins, 4 brothers – Herbert, Frank, Norm, & Fred Schaetzle.
Cremation will take place and no services are planned at this time. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN is in charge of all arrangements.
Preferred memorials may be given to the Donor’s choice.
