Delores Ann “Dee” Mulry, 81, of Cromwell, IN passed away at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at her home. She was born on April 3, 1936 in Shell Lake, WI to Adolph & Violet (Thibodeaux) Stariha.

She graduated from Shell Lake High School, attended college in Eau Claire, WI, and was married to James T. Mulry M.D. who survives. She was a women’s counselor for many years, former owner / operator of Aqua Vista Motel in Shell Lake, WI and formerly worked at Elkhart General Hospital. She grew up in Shell Lake, WI and lived in Elkhart for many years before moving to Syracuse / Cromwell area on December 5, 1999 from Whitewater, WI.

She was a member of the Rock Church in Cromwell. She loved sailing, snowmobiling, was an avid fishing guide in Wisconsin and a former Arthur Murray Dance Instructor.

She is survived by:

Husband – Dr. James Mulry of Cromwell

4 Daughters – Robin (J. Brian) Messick of Middlebury, Joy (J. Michael Swearengin) Caton of Phoenix, AZ, Julie (Randy) Castetter of Elkhart , and Brianne (Nathan) McLaughlin of Springfield, IL

7 Grand, 15 Gt. Grand, and 10 Gt. Gt. Grandchildren

Sister – Carolyn Martin of Spring Brook, WI

Brother - Donald Stariha of Shell Lake, WI

She was preceded in death by her parents, son – Shawn David Milton, sister – Carol Ann Stariha, and brother – Jerald Stariha.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor’s Gary & Sarah Tuttle officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
