Dennis M. Hazel, 80, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in his Warsaw, Indiana home.
He was born to Lawrence S. and Evelyn R. (Robinson) Hazel November 15, 1935 in Elkhart, Indiana. He and Ruth Grabill were married May 31, 1995 in Harris, Arkansas.
Dennis had been a Warsaw area resident for the past 22 years. He retired in 2001 from Fahl Manufactured Homes as a service tech. He was a member of Warsaw Moose Lodge 560 and loved to watch crime dramas on television.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; son: Dennis L. Hazel of Burbank, California; 3 daughters: Sandy Hazel Burbank, California; DeAnn (Presley) Hall and Robin Kelly – all of Salbury, North Carolina; 4 step daughters: Tammy (Craig) Gerard of Elkhart, Indiana; Rhonda Ritchie, Gold Hill, North Carolina; Tracy Feldman of Houston, Texas; and Tina (and Steve) Pollock of North Port, Florida; step son: Mitch (and Elizabeth) Feldman, Warsaw; 4 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 13 step grandchildren. Dennis was preceded in passing by his parents.
A private family burial will take place at a later death in Gracelawn Cemetery, Middlebury, Indiana.
The family has asked that gifts in Dennis’ memory be directed to Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice, PO Box 1196, Warsaw, Indiana 46581-1196.
The staff of Titus Funeral Home considers it a privilege and an honor to care for the family and friends of Dennis M. Hazel.
