Dennis Michael "Denny" Sharp

Dennis Michael "Denny" Sharp, 81, of Milford, IN passed away at 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Paddock Springs Healthcare in Warsaw, IN. He was born on May 31, 1939 in Warsaw, IN to Burris & Marybelle (Lentz) Sharp.

He was a lifetime Milford area resident, graduated in 1957 from Milford High School and from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN where he was also part of the R.O.T.C. He was a United States Army veteran. He was married on October 4, 1980 in Milford, IN to Judy L. (Baumgartner) Parker who survives and was the former owner / operator of Sharp Hardware for 50+ years.

He was a member of United Methodist Church in Milford, Lions Club in Milford, Waubee Lake Association, and enjoyed restoring old cars.

He is survived by:

Wife – Judy Sharp of Milford

Son – Michael Sharp of Miami, FL & Erik Sharp of Syracuse

Daughter – Margie Slusser of Syracuse

2 Grand - Cassidy Parker & Kailer Slusser

Gt. Grandson – Elliot Slusser

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother – Richard Sharp.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Felkner Cemetery in Milford, IN with Pastor Rob Nelson officiating. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN is in charge of arrangements.
