Dennis R. “Denny” Blosser, 61, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 10;00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at I.U. Goshen Hospital in Goshen, IN. He was born on May 18, 1950 in Elkhart, IN to Doris Blosser.
He attended Wakarusa High School and was married on August 14, 1987 in Eden, OH to Jacqueline R. “Jackie” Hoover who survives. He moved to Syracuse in 1971 from Bremen and was formerly employed at Sweet Lix in Syracuse and Seller’s Manufacturing in Milford.
He is survived by:
Wife – Jackie Blosser of Syracuse
Daughter – Mrs. Edwin (Anna) Olivencia of Bronson, FL
2 Sons – Denny Dean (wife, Tara) Blosser of Omaha, NE & Raymond Blosser of Warsaw
5 Grandchildren
4 Sisters – Mrs. Brian (Dawn) Allan of Cromwell, Pat Watkins of Etna Green,
Mrs. Gene (Sandy) Hombs of Trevor, WI
& Kristine Kehr of Florida
Brother – Max (wife, Connie) Byrket of Cromwell
He was preceded by his mother, 2 sisters – Lois Berry & Betty Studebaker, & 4 brothers – Paul, Jerry, Max, & Bill Blosser.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 21, 2012 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Brad Cox of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating.
Memorial bequest may be given to the Dennis Blosser Funeral fund, c/o Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
