Diana Jo Brown

Diana Jo Brown, 78, of Cromwell, IN passed away at 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Miller's Merry Manor in Syracuse, IN. She was born on April 2, 1940 in Kimmell, IN to Everett P. & Lucille M. (Beezley) Baker.

She was a lifetime Noble County area resident and graduated in 1958 from Cromwell High School. On July 14, 1961 at Broadway Christian Church in Kimmell, IN she married Danny A. “Dan” Brown who preceded her on August 28, 2016. She was a homemaker and retired in 2002 from the United States Postal Service in Cromwell after 20 years where she served as a rural carrier, clerk, and finally as the temporary postmaster.

She was a member of the Church of God in North Webster and Wawasee Camp of the Gideons Auxiliary in Syracuse.

She is survived by:

Daughter – Jackie Brown of Kimmell

Son – Dana (Amy) Brown of Cromwell

2 Grandchildren

Sister – Judith (Ronald) Wentworth of Kimmell

She was preceded in death by her parents & husband.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Boyer officiating. Burial will follow at the Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell, IN.
