Diane Jane Rhine, 70, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2016, at 10:16 a.m. in Bridgewater Healthcare Center, Carmel, Indiana.

The daughter of Paul H. and Hazel A. (Pippen) Dean, Diane was born August 29, 1945 in Warsaw, Indiana.

She was a graduate of New Carlisle High School and attended Bethel College, Mishawaka, Indiana.
Diane was a former resident of Kosciusko County and a former member of Shiloh United Methodist Church, Kokomo, Indiana. She was a Brownie, Girl Scout and 4-H leader for many years in Russiaville, Indiana (near Kokomo). She liked arts and crafts and was an extremely gifted canvas painter and ceramic designer.
Four children survive: 2 daughters: Ashley Rhine of Indianapolis, Indiana and Holly (and husband, Doug) Smith of Noblesville, Indiana; and 2 sons: Jason Rhine, Maulvin, South Carolina and Justin (and wife, Crystal) Rhine of Kokomo; 12 grandchildren; and a sister and brother-in-law: Jo Anne and Wallace Kehr of Goshen, Indiana.
She was preceded in passing by her brother, Richard Dean.
Family and friends will gather Thursday, June 9th from 11 AM – 1 PM at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, Indiana for a time of remembering and sharing. A service celebrating Diane’s life will follow beginning at 1 PM in the funeral home. Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice chaplain will officiate. Burial will follow in Etna Green Cemetery, Etna Green, Indiana.

The family has asked that gifts in Diane’s memory by given to a charity of the donor’s choice or simple acts of kindness may be done for others in Diane’s memory.
The staff of Titus Funeral Home considers it a privilege and an honor to care for the family and friends of Diane Jane Rhine.
