Donald J. Frazier, 76, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 at 1:29 AM in Vibra Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Don was born February 16, 1938 in Garrett, Kentucky to Claude and Ruby (Hollifield) Frazier. He served in the United States Army. Don and Bessie Fay Harmon were joined in marriage November 7, 1961 in Silver Lake, Indiana.
He was employed by Depuy for 23 years retiring in 2004 as a machinist. He also had worked for International Harvester in Fort Wayne for 13 years and retired in 1977.
Living most of his life in Warsaw, he enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Bessie; son and daughter-in-law: Corbett and Vickie Frazier; 2 grandsons and their wives: Eric and Maria Frazier and Dennis and Trish Frazier - all of Warsaw; 4 great grandchildren; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law: Harold Frazier, Warsaw and Jim and Melody Frazier, Connersville, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents: Claude and Ruby Frazier.
There will be graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Terry Bradford of First Baptist Church of Kosciusko County. Military honors will be conducted by Warsaw’s American Legion Post #49 and VFW Post #1126.
The family has asked that gifts in Don’s memory be made to a charity of choice or simple acts of kindness may be done for others in Don’s name.
