Donald E. "Don" Fackler

Donald E. “Don” Fackler, 82, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Syracuse, IN. He was born on July 18, 1934 in Goshen, IN to Forrest W. & Blanche I. (Culler) Fackler.
He graduated in 1954 from New Paris High School, a United States Army veteran, and was a lifetime Goshen, New Paris and Syracuse area resident. He retired in 2000 from Chore Time in Milford, IN after 43 years of service.
Member of the Church of the Brethren in North Webster and formerly attended the Church of the Brethren in Syracuse.
He is survived by cousins
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Bob Wyman officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
