Donald E. "Don" Minear

Donald E. "Don" Minear, 60, of North Webster, IN passed away at 2:25 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on November 16, 1958 in Columbia City, IN to Franklin “Hal” & Peggy (Rhodes) Minear.

He was a lifetime North Webster area resident and graduated in 1977 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse. He was married on April 5, 1980 in North Webster, IN to Debra K. “Deb” Clayton who survives. He was formerly employed at Lyall Electric and was the manager for Crystal Flash both in North Webster.

He was a member of the Country Bible Church in North Webster where he served on the Mission of Love Foundation.

He is survived by:

Wife – Deb Minear of North Webster

2 Sons – Andy Minear & Luke (Sara) Minear both of North Webster

2 Grandchildren – Dylan & Payton Minear

Parents – Hal & Peggy Minear of North Webster

Sister – Susan (John) Shock of Syracuse

Brother – Mark Minear of Leesburg

He was preceded in death by his sister – Pam Minear.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2019 in the funeral home with Pastor Myron Drent officiating. Burial will follow in the Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery.
