Donald Irvine “Don” Huffman, 82, of Warsaw, IN passed away peacefully at 12:50 a.m. on Monday, March 13, 2017 in the care of the nursing staff at Mason Health & Rehab in Warsaw, IN.
He was born on May 22, 1934 in Warsaw, IN to Irene Belle Huffman. He was a lifetime Warsaw area resident, attended Warsaw High School and was Sergeant in the United States Marines where he received the Sharpshooter Medal. He was married on April 7, 1962 in Warsaw, IN to Beverly Jean Lowman who survives. He retired in 2002 from the Newmar Corporation in Nappanee after many years.
He was a member of the Warsaw Wesleyan Church.
He is survived by:
Wife – Beverly Huffman of Warsaw
2 Daughters – Glenda Huffman & Teresa Huffman both of Warsaw
Son – Bruce (Kris) Huffman of Warsaw
Granddaughter – Cayla Huffman
Step Granddaughter – Alicia Carnes
Half-sister – Doris Feiler of Goshen
He was preceded in death by his mother & step father – Irene & Roy Ringgenberg, 2 step brothers, and 3 step sisters.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Private family graveside services will be held at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Warsaw, IN with Pastor Anthony Cottrell officiating.
Preferred memorials may be given to the Warsaw Wesleyan Church, 2402 W Old Rd 30, Warsaw, IN 46580.
