Donna Kern

Donna L. Kern, 54, of Milford, IN passed away at 5:49 p.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the IU Goshen Hospital.  She was born on April 7, 1958 in Marion, IN to Paul V. & Betty J. (McVey) Nealis.

She grew up in Marion and attended high school there.  She moved to the Milford area in 1986.  On January 6, 1991 she married Kevin L. Kern in Merrit Island, FL.  She worked at Stacy’s Sports Inn in Leesburg for over 27 years and was a former member of the Eagles Arie 3760 in Syracuse.  She was an avid bowler on several leagues and she enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.

She is survived by:
Husband – Kevin L. Kern of Milford
2 Daughters – Mrs. Tim (Amy) Kuhn of Leesburg & Kelley Miller of Milford
5 Grandchildren – Rylan & Aubrey Kuhn, Kiana & Keyan Peete, & Adrian Miller
Mother – Betty Smith of Syracuse
Sister– Mrs. Kim (Paula) Martin of Wabash
Niece – Amanda Younce of Wabash

She was preceded in death by her father, step father – Paul Smith, & sister – Tonya Alfrey

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 21, 2012 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & C.R. 500N, North Webster, IN. A memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Boyer of the North Webster Church of God officiating.
