Donna M. Achenbach

On Monday, April 25, 2022, Donna M. (Lewis) Achenbach, 81, of Warsaw, beloved mother, stepmother, grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully into the arms of Our Heavenly Father.

Donna was born on Sept. 3, 1940 in Rankin, IL to the late Donald F. and Edith P. (Rollins) Lewis. On Dec. 14, 2001 Donna married the late William D. Achenbach.

Donna’s pride and joy were her three daughters - Cindy (Dennis) Tucker of Warsaw, Lori (Brad) Cone of Woodstock, GA, and Pam Stahly of Warsaw. Her much adored seven grandchildren - Casey (Jordan) Tucker, Kyle Tucker, Taylor (Ryan Price) Stahly, Meghan (Justin) Gunter, Courtney Cone, Tyler Stahly, and Cameron Cone; stepson - William Achenbach Jr. (Susan Ulrey); stepdaughter - Adele (Marty) Frilow. She was granny to four precious great-grandchildren - Greyson Tucker, Adeline Gunter, Harlow Tucker, and Navy Gunter: and three precious bonus grandchildren - Addison, Callie, and Jett Price. Also surviving are her four amazing sisters - Judy (Ted) Dobbins of Warsaw, Rita (Ron) Longenbaugh of Columbia City, Sandra (Bruce) Allison of Dover, DE, and Debra (Todd) Brock of Kennesaw, GA.

Also left to cherish her memory are Bill and Donna’s beloved friend, Carl Hill, and her much adored dog, Lilly Bug.

In addition to her husband Bill, Donna was proceeded in death by her parents, Don and Edith Lewis, brother - Charles Lewis, infant sister - Rosemary Lewis, son-in-law - Michael Stahly, and nephew - Jason Dobbins.

Donna was a graduate of Leesburg High School, a longtime supporter of the Beaman House, and a faithful employee of Dalton Foundries.

A celebration of Life will be held at Tippe River Downs Club House, 2630 Tippe Down Drive, Warsaw, on Saturday, April 30, 20-22 from 1 to 4 p.m. with Carl Hill offering the eulogy at 2 p.m. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Donna’s name be made to the Beaman House and the Kosciusko County Humane Shelter.
