Doris M. Gadson passed away Monday, March 3, 2014 in Grace Village Healthcare, Winona Lake, Indiana at the age of 80.
Doris was born May 23, 1933 in Warsaw, Indiana to Harvey and Wreatha (Boyer) Grubbs. She graduated from Warsaw High School with the class of 1941. She was a lifetime Warsaw resident and was a homemaker. Doris attended Calvary Baptist Church, Oswego, Indiana.
She leaves behind 2 sons and daughters-in-law: Terry and Pam Netzley, Warsaw; and Dan and Jovelyn Netzley of Palestine, Indiana; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law: Raymond and Georgie Grubbs of Claypool, Indiana; and Glen and Betty Grubbs, Warsaw; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law: Violet and Frank Unrue, Warsaw; Elaine and Dave Ellis of Pierceton, Indiana; and Martha and Don Burnau of Dickson, Tennessee.
A graveside service will take place Friday, March 7, 2014 at 10 AM in the Palestine Cemetery, Palestine. Pastor Kirk Barger of Calvary Baptist Church will officiate.
The family has asked the gifts in Doris' memory be given to Calvary Baptist Church, 3065 E. Armstrong Road, Leesburg, Indiana 46538.
