“On March 24, in the Year of Our Lord, 2017, our mom, Dorothy Priser, at the age of 89, having received new orders from her faithful Savior, departed this earthly realm and joined herself to that waiting heavenly host of friends and family.”
Dorothy was born October 18, 1927 in Richmond, Indiana to William and Helen (Baker) Katte. She was a Richmond High School graduate.
On March 7, 1943, she and Joseph C. Priser were joined in marriage in Brownwood, Texas.
Dorothy lived most of her life in Warsaw where she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a teller for Lake City Bank for 30 years.
Survivors include: her daughter and son-in-law: Bonnie and Tom Webb of Leesburg, Indiana; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law: Bruce and Jama Priser of Lake Odessa, Michigan and Stephen Priser of Mount Vernon, Washington; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and her brother: Richard Katte, Warsaw.
Her husband Joe C. Priser preceded her in passing on October 1, 1999. Also preceding were 2 sisters: Carol Barton and Jane Ann Massie.
A private family service will be held. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
