Douglas W. Fancil, known to many as Doug, was born on January 28, 1974, in Warsaw, Indiana to Richard and Gloria (Lindenmuth) Fancil. He passed away on September 29 2024, in New Castle, Indiana. Doug was a generous man who had the unique ability to make those around him feel at ease.

 Doug exemplified a strong work ethic. He was a certified welder in the RV Industry, a career he took great pride in. In his youth, he worked alongside his grandfather, which helped shape his skills. Doug had furthered his education at Ivy Tech after graduating from Warsaw Community High School.

A passionate football fan, Doug also loved working on cars, particularly muscle cars. He also loved motorcyles. He had a zest for life and was quite active in his youth, playing soccer, football, karate and even BMX, where he won a state championship.

Doug is survived by his daughter, Halie Fancil, and granddaughters, Nova and Nyla. He was the son of Richard and Gloria Fancil who also survive. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sandy Lynn Fancil, and his grandparents.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on October 4, 2024, at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 4 pm to 6 pm, followed by a funeral service beginning at 6 o'clock. On Monday, October 7, 2024 a graveside service will be held at 11 am in Oakwood Cemetery, 421 N.
