Earl L. Morris, age 90 and a resident of Dewart Lake, passed away at Mason Health and Rehabilitation on Friday, February 14, 2025.
Born on February 27, 1934, Earl was the son of Homer and Ada (Frix) Morris. He was a graduate of Alexandria Monroe High School where he met the love of his life, Priscilla Clark. They married on July 1, 1955, and spent more than 67 years together until her passing in 2022.
Earl was a longtime member of North Webster Church of God and previously of Alexandria First Baptist Church. An avid fisherman, he was often found at the lake with a fishing pole in his hand. He could fillet fish like no other and enjoyed fish fry’s with neighbors in the summer. Earl and Priscilla also wintered in Estero, Florida for more than 22 years. More than anything, Earl loved time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Those who survive with memories to cherish include his daughter, Jeni (Mat) Pritchard of Syracuse; two grandchildren: Sara Pritchard of Syracuse and Jared Pritchard of Salt Lake City, UT; and brother, Terry (Vera) Morris of Elwood. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Kathy O'Lesek; three brothers; and one sister. While Earl will be missed terribly by his family, they find joy in knowing he is united again with his bride whom he missed greatly ever since her passing. How fitting he passed on February 14 to spend Valentine’s Day with his love.
Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1001 S. Huntington Street, Syracuse, is entrusted with Earl's care. His family is grieving privately at this time, and no services are planned. Those wishing to express their sympathy should consider giving to a Christian charity of the donor's choosing. Written condolences may be left at www.TitusFuneralHome.com
