Earl A. “Andy” Crider, 63, of Kimmell, IN passed away at 8:30 p.m. on Monday, December 27, 2010 at his home. He was born on August 28, 1947 in Auburn, IN to O.N. “Bud” & Patricia R. (Edwards) Crider.
He grew up in Park Forest, IL and graduated in 1965 from Decatur High School in Decatur, IN. He was married on June 8, 1968 in Merriam, IN to Judy M. Stump who survives. He moved to Kimmell in June 1985 after he retired from the United States Air Force after serving 20+ years of service and was a member of the Ormas Baptist Church in Columbia City, IN.
He is survived by:
Wife – Judy Crider of Kimmell
Daughter – Tamara Walters of Union Grove, WI
2 Sons – Jon (wife, Lee Ann) Crider of Churubusco & Jeff (wife, Heather) Crider of Dayton, OH
5 Granddaughters
Step Mother – June Crider of Glenmont, NY
Sister – Mrs. Jerry (Debbie) Sabino of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA
Brother – Michael (wife, Mary) Crider of Coal Valley, IL
He was preceded in death by his parents & step father – Douglas Stevenson.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 31, 2010 at the funeral home with Dr. Gordon Rankin of the Ormas Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery in Wilmot with full military honors performed by the United States Air Force.

Memorial bequests may be given to Goshen Care at Home Hospice, P.O. Box 723, Goshen, IN 46526 or the Ormas Baptist Church, 8962 N. 300W, Columbia City, IN46725. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
