Edward A. "Ed" Russell

Edward A. “Ed” Russell, 62, of Michigan City, IN passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020 at his residence. He was born on November 29, 1957 in Knox, IN to Kermet A. & Marianne M. (Janik) Russell.

He lived most of his life in Starke County, IN, graduated from North Judson High School, and moved to Michigan City, IN about 10 years ago.  He was a former welder for Galbreath Welding in Winamac, IN for 25 years and was a former volunteer fireman in San Pierre, IN.

He is survived by:

Son – Shaun (Sarah Damron) Russell of Goshen

3 Grandchildren

Mother Marianne Russell of Warsaw

Sister – Cindy Russell of Etna Green

2 Brothers – Robert Russell of Tennessee & Joe Russell of Knox

He was preceded in death by his father & son – Edward “Eddie” Russell Jr.

**Due to the current, unprecedented guidelines limiting public gatherings because of the COVID-19 virus, cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN A Celebration of Life services will be scheduled at a later date. Private burial will take place in the Highland Cemetery in North Judson at a later date. **
