Edward L. "Ed" Chivington

Edward L. “Ed” Chivington, 66, of North Webster, IN passed away at 8:35 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at his residence. He was born on August 26, 1952 in Fort Wayne, IN to Eugene and Mary (Reichard) Chivington.

He graduated in 1970 from West Noble High School and on March 25, 1972 in Fort Wayne he married Gloria J. Huffman who survives. He retired from Zimmer Biomet in Warsaw after 6 years and formerly worked at Dana Corporation in Syracuse for 20+ years. He was a lifetime Noble / Kosciusko County area resident and lived in the North Webster area for over 30 years.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, and tinkering in the garage fixing things.

He is survived by:

Wife – Gloria Chivington of North Webster

Twin daughters – Stacey (Rich) Vester of Syracuse & Tracey (Steve) Harris of Columbia City

Son – Joseph Chivington of Warsaw

6 Grandchildren & 2 Gt. Grandchildren

Brother – David Chivington of Cromwell

He was preceded by his parents, son – Craig Chivington, 2 sisters – Ruth Neal & Karen Mertens, and 2 brothers – Joseph & Bob Chivington.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Private family services will take place at a later date. Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN is in charge of arrangements.
