Elizabeth Ann White, of Warsaw, passed away unexpectedly at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort
Wayne on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at the age of 78.
Known to most as Ann, she was born in Crawfordsville, IN on January 21, 1944. She was one of the two
children of Robert and Mary Elizabeth Loop. Ann was a 1962 graduate of Warsaw High School, and went on to
get her degree from Hanover College in Madison, IN. After college, she furthered her knowledge with a
master’s degree in Education from the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne. On December 22, 1979, she was
united in marriage to James White and together they’ve spent 42 years.
Ann spent 30 years working for Warsaw Community Schools, teaching at Washington and Harrison elementary
schools and as a gifted and talented teacher. After she retired she continued to volunteer with the schools in the
library as reading was one of her passions. She also served as a CASA volunteer, advocating for kids in court.
Both James and Ann were international travelers, travelling to five of the seven continents. She enjoyed
exploring new things and talking to people. While at home, Ann loved to cook and entertain guests. Most of all,
she treasured time spent with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Along with her husband James, those who survive include her children, Robert (Lisa) Musgrave and Beth
(Reggie Beehner) Musgrave; grandchildren, Jack Beehner, Gus Beehner, Luke Musgrave, Rebecca Musgrave,
