Ella Wogoman

Ella Dora Wogoman, 86, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2011 at Millers Merry Manor in Syracuse. She was born on March 19, 1925 in Lagrange, IN to Norton & Deliliah (Wierick) Campbell.
She was a lifetime Syracuse / Goshen area resident and graduated in 1943 from Goshen High School. She was married on March 24, 1945 in Elkhart Co., IN to Rolland A. (Tubby) Wogoman who preceded her in 1986.
She was formerly employed at Essex Wire in Ligonier for 35 years and was a member of the American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries both in Syracuse.
She is survived by:
1 Son – Clifford L. (wife, Shelby) Wogoman of Syracuse
3 Grand – Patty Wogoman, Dorrie Langdon & Debra Hammer, 2 Step Grand, 8 Gt. Grand, & 3 Step Gt. Grand
1 Sister – Helen Grover of Goshen
1 Brother – Jim (Wife, Cartha) Campbell of Elkhart
She was preceded by her parents, husband, and daughter-in-law - Sherrie Wogoman.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2011 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home with Bruce Rookstool officiating. Burial will follow in Syracuse Cemetery.
