Ellen D. “Ellie” Stump, 81, of North Webster, IN passed away at 3:35 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Millers Merry Manor in Columbia City, IN. She was born on April 5, 1933 in Cromwell, IN to Roy A. & Estella (Correll) Miller.
She was a lifetime North Webster area resident and attended North Webster High School. On December 3, 1949 in Etna, IN at the United Methodist Parsonage she was married to Jack L. Stump who survives. She was a homemaker and formerly worked for G & W Pizza in Syracuse and Lyall Electric in North Webster.
She was a member of Salem Community Church in Wilmot.
She is survived by:

2 Daughters- Debbie (Kurt) Church of Huntington, IN & Diane (Jerry) Schuh of Warsaw
1 Son- David (Nancy) Stump of Ligonier
8 Grand, 4 Step Grand, 4 Gt. Grand & 9 Step Gt. Grandchildren
2 Sisters – Kathryn (James) Bartley of Syracuse & Helen Wagoner of North Webster
She was preceded by her parents, 2 sisters – Mildred Cotton & Jane Campbell,
& brother – Joe Miller.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 26, 2014 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & C.R. 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Colby officiating. Burial will follow at the Salem Cemetery in Wilmot.
