Emily Rose Smith, 1 year old, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 9:53 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw, IN. She was born on June 15, 2013 in Mishawaka, IN to Alaina J. (Scott) Smith.

She moved to Syracuse in November 2013 from South Bend and formerly attended the Epic Church in Mishawaka.

She is survived by:

Sister – Caylee Balmer – Robinson
Brother – Isaiah Smith
Maternal Grandparents – Thomas & Tammy Scott of Mishawaka
Maternal Gt. Grandparents – Martin & Dina Rajski of Mishawaka and Thomas & Sandra Scott of Mishawaka
Maternal Gt. Gt. Grandmother – Sylvia Oakley of Mishawaka

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Memorial services will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home with Pastor Sheldon Callahan of the Vineyard Community Church in Syracuse officiating.

Memorial bequest may be given to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home
