Eric W. Hoskin, 38, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 5 PM in his Warsaw, Indiana home in the presence of family after a brave and life-long battle with ill health.
Eric was born July 8, 1975 in Fayetteville, North Carolina to Jon K. and Vera L. (Peacock) Hoskin. He lived most of his life in Warsaw and was a 1994 graduate of Warsaw Community High School.
Eric was most recently employed by Spartech as a packer. Additionally he had worked for Cortech, Kroger, McQuick's, Kohl's and R.R. Donnelley and Sons.
Eric enjoyed going to car shows with his friends. He had a unique ability to design and customize vehicles and was especially known for customizing speaker systems in vehicles. Most of all he loved and was proud of his sons and enjoyed spending time with them. Eric was known for his undaunted courage in life. He had the ability to make friends wherever he went and the tendency to smile no matter what the circumstances.
Left with memories to treasure are his sons: Braxton Schultz of Claypool, Indiana and Noah Aaron Hoskin of New Haven, Indiana; mother: Vera Lee Charlton, Warsaw; father: Jon Hoskin of Niles Michigan; sister and brother-in-law: Shana Lyn and Jason Ort, Warsaw; and brother: Saber Lauren Charlton of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents and an uncle, Paul Peacock.
Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing in support of each other Friday, November 8th from 5-7 PM at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A memorial service celebrating the life of Eric W. Hoskin will follow beginning at 7 PM. Pastor Bob Jarboe, Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice chaplain will officiate.
The family has asked that gifts in Eric's memory be given to the fund set up for his boys. It is the: Eric Hoskin Family Memorial Trust, First Source Bank, 120 S. Lake Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580.
