Eugene Warrix, 66, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 7:40 AM in Elkhart General Hospital, Elkhart, Indiana
The son of Zene and Julie (Meadows) Warrix, Eugene was born July 22, 1948 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.
Eugene lived most of his life in the Warsaw area. He worked 35 years as a truck driver for various trucking companies, retiring in 2003. Eugene was an avid fisherman and hunter; and loved old movies.
He is survived by and will be deeply missed by his family: daughter, Georgia Warrix, Vancouver, Washington; 2 sons, Jason Warrix, Warsaw, and Michael Warrix, Vancouver; former-wife, Connie Warrix, Warsaw; and sister, Shelia “Cathy” Brenden, The Dallas, Oregon. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Warrix.
Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing in comfort and support of each other; will a celebration of life following Tuesday, December 23 from 4 - 7 PM in Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580.
The family has asked that gifts in Eugene’s memory be directed to American Diabetes Foundation, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22313.
