Evangelina Carbajal Mejia

Evangelina Carbajal Mejia, age 46 of Warsaw, passed away quietly in her home with family on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.

The daughter of Raul Carbajal and Angelina Mejia Rodriguez, Eva, as most knew her, was born in Guanajuato, Mexico on January 23, 1975. She was the united in marriage to Jose Loyola Patino in July of 2000 and is the mother of three beautiful children.

For Eva, time spent with family was the most important. She was a loving mother and loved her family in Mexico dearly. Although she only attended school through the sixth grade, she was incredibly smart and encouraged her children to learn as much as possible; her nurturing spirit is what they remember most.

Eva enjoyed trips to Starbucks, visiting family in Mexico and fondly remembered her first communion as she felt like a princess in her dress. Her children fondly remember her dancing with her husband Jose, swimming at the lake and visiting Mexico.

Those who survive with memories to cherish include her husband of more than 20 years, Jose Loyola Patino; daughters, Yesica Loyola and Daisy Loyola; son, Cristian Loyola; mother, Angelina Mejia Rodriguez; brother, Alejandro, Alfredo and Gustavo and sisters, Martha, Maria and Anita Carbajal Mejia. She was preceded in passing by her father and a brother.

Friends may gather for visitation on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 4 to 7 pm at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 225 Gillam Drive, Warsaw at Noon on Friday with gathering for one hour prior, beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will be private at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw.

Titus Funeral Home is assisting the family. Memorial gifts may be given to the family with checks written to Jose Loyola Patino.
