Evelyn K. Clay, 81, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 3:50 a.m. in Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester, Indiana.
Evelyn was born June 29, 1935 in Danville, Illinois to Walter and Zola (Horn) Green.
She had lived in the Warsaw, Indiana area for the past 25 years. She was a nurse’s aide for Mason Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Warsaw for 15 years.
Evelyn was a member of the Claypool United Methodist Church and a member of its United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Salvation Army Auxiliary.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Kathy and Gary Breske of Silver Lake, Indiana; 2 grandsons: David Breske and Robert Breske, both of Warsaw; a great grandson: Wyatt Breske; and a sister-in-law: Leatha McMains of Hoopston, Illinois. Evelyn was preceded in her passing by 3 brothers: Robert Thomas Green, Charles Green and Eugene Green; 2 sisters: Loretta Green and Virginia Mae Jenkins; and her parents.
Visitation will be Friday, December 23rd from 3-5 PM at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan Street, Warsaw, Indiana. There will be no funeral service.
Gifts in Evelyn’s memory may be directed to Peabody Retirement Community, 400 W. 7th Street, North Manchester, Indiana 46962 to be used at their discretion.
