Flora Bynum, 72, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 3:37 AM in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Indiana.
Flora was born February 26, 1942 in Reid, Mississippi to Otis and Beatrice (Vance) Phillips. She had lived in the Warsaw area for the past 30 years.
She worked in the health care field as a CNA and was a foster parent.
Flora was a member of the Warsaw United Pentecostal Church and Bright Star Church of God and Christ (Chicago). She loved to fish.
Flora is survived by 2 daughters: Theresa Clark, Warsaw and her 3 children: Shammona Clark, Chicago, Illinois; Claude Clark, Warsaw; and Sharica Clark, Fort Wayne, Indiana; and Terri (Tammy) Taylor, Fort Wayne and her 4 children: Antonio Castillo, Warsaw; Teremy Taylor, Tenise Taylor and Terome Taylor – all of Fort Wayne; 7 great grandchildren: Tyler, Kierston, Dre, Tre, Iyanna, D’auvionne, and Ah’lyah; sister: Bertha Turner, Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing in support of one another Wednesday, March 4th from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Warsaw United Pentecostal Church. A service will follow beginning at 1:00 with Pastor Dan Cox of the church officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
