Frances Imogene (Imy) Menzie, 86, North Webster died at 10:35 a.m. on Monday, November 3, 2008 in her residence. She was born on May 23, 1922 in Elkhart to Clarence Edwin and Nellie Florence (Hill) Richwine.
She moved to North Webster in 1936 from Elkhart, IN and graduated in 1940 from North Webster High School as the class valedictorian. She was married in 1941 in North Webster to James Russell Gullett who preceded her on July 11, 1944. On April 26, 1947 in North Webster she married Charles Junior Menzie who preceded her on December 20, 1979.
She retired in 1991 as Postmaster of the United States Post Office in North Webster after 30 years of service. She was a member of the North Webster American Legion Auxiliary Post 253 and former member of Pythian Sister's Lodge in North Webster.

She is survived by:
Twin Daughters - Mrs. Rex (Joann) Reid of Pierceton & Mrs. Ray (Jeanie) Auker of North Webster
1 Son - John Gullet of North Webster
7 Grand - James Russell Gullett III, Michelle Lea Harter, Deborah Jean (Reid) Ayres, Brett Leon Harter, Kirsten Danielle (Gullett-Miracle) Fink, Matthew Gerald Gullett, & Erica Lynae Auker 4 Step-grand - Randy Menzie, Rick Menzie, Rita Seitz & Rob Menzie, 13 Gt. Grand, and several Step- Gt. Grandchildren
1 Sister - Jean Davis of North Webster

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, two sons - James Russell Gullett II and Gerald Gullett, grandson- Jeffrey Mark Reid, step-son - Richard Menzie and sister - Helen Warble

Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 7, 2008 at the funeral home with Rev. David Smitley of the North Webster United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the North Webster Cemetery.

Memorial bequests may be given to the Kosciusko Home Care & Hospice, North Webster EMS or North Webster United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
