Frank DeVon Hoffer, 88, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 5:40 AM in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Indiana.
He was born February 8, 1927 in Marshall County, Indiana to John C. and Irene M. (Brumbaugh) Hoffer. Frank was a 1945 graduate of Atwood High School, Atwood, Indiana.
On August 13, 1949, in Atwood, he and Dorothy E. Egolf were joined in marriage.
Frank was the manager of Etna Bank of Atwood for 18 years until his retirement in 1992. He was a lifetime Kosciusko County resident and a volunteer with the Atwood Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife: Dorothy Hoffer, daughter: Ruth Hoffer, son: Chad Hoffer – all of Warsaw. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.
Those who preceded Frank in death are a son: John Hoffer; brother: Donald Hoffer; and 4 sisters: Evelyn Hoffer, Mary Pendleton, Wilma Hoffer and Edna Hoffer.
Services will be private.
