Frederick A. "Fred" Northrup

Frederick A. "Fred" Northrup, 65, of North Webster, IN passed away at 2:10 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Goshen Hospital. He was born on February 2, 1955 in Niles, MI to George Arthur & Norma Adaline (McDonald) Northrup.

He lived most of his life in the North Webster area except for the brief time in Adrian, MI, attended Wawasee High School in Syracuse, IN, and was a United States Army veteran. He was married on November 15, 1986 in Cromwell, IN to Jo Ellen (Valentine) Simms who preceded him on December 25, 2017. He formerly worked in construction and as a factory worker for various employers.

He is survived by:

Daughter – Tia Northup of North Webster

2 Sons – Frederick (Alyscia) Northrup II of Delta, OH & Conrad (Jessica) Northrup of Morenci, MI

10 Grandchildren

3 Sisters – Delores (Doug) Long of North Webster, Pamela Witte of Leesburg, and Jennifer (James) Misener of South Bend

2 Brothers – Robert (Jeanne) Northrup of North Augusta, GA, & Steven Northrup of North Webster

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 3 sisters - Georgia Keonig, Jeanne Dunn, and Cheryl Mast and 3 brothers – George E. “Sonny, Donald J. “Jack”, and Roger Lee Northrup.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN.
