Garin K. “Kirk” Voorheis, 46, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 4:12 a.m. on Friday, July 28, 2017 at his home. He was born January 21, 1971 in Wheeling, W.VA to Gary & Ruth Ann (Smeester) Voorheis.
He graduated in 1989 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse and attended I.T.T. in Fort Wayne. He was married on September 25, 2013 in Syracuse, IN to Kelly A. Pollock who survives and he lived most of his life in the Syracuse area. He formerly worked for Bills Automotive for several years, Rogers Electro-matics, and Bud’s Body Shop all in Syracuse.
He was a member of Oak Grove Community Church in Warsaw.

Step - Sister – Amanda Workman-Bender of Elkhart, IN

He is preceded in death by his mother.
There will be no public services held. A celebration of life gathering will take place at a later date. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Owen Family funeral Home 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, In is in charge of arrangements.
