Gary A. Karbach, 61, of North Webster, IN passed away at 10:05 a.m. on January 23, 2012 at the Courtyard Health Center in Goshen, IN. He was born on October 22, 1950 in Fort Wayne, IN to William C. & Doris Mae (Murphy) Karbach.
He grew up in the Fort Wayne area and lived most of his life in the North Webster area. He graduated in 1969 from New Haven High School and was a United States Army Veteran. He was formerly employed at Maple Leaf Farms in Milford, IN for many years, was a truck driver, worked for a masonry company, and at Wawasee Boat Works in Syracuse. He was a member of the North Webster American Legion post 253 and formerly attended Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne.
He is survived by:
Daughter – Mrs. Neil (Mia) Sindelar of Warsaw
Son – Brandon Karbach of Syracuse
3 Grandchildren
2 Brothers – William C. (wife JoAnn) Karbach Jr. of Decatur, IN and Scot A. Karbach of Warsaw
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2012 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & C.R. 500N, North Webster. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the North Webster Cemetery (Mock Addition) with Rev. Mike Beezley of the Clunette United Methodist Church officiating. Miltary rites will be performed by the North Webster American Legion Post 253.
