Geisla Marie Denney, age 59 of Warsaw, passed away after a brief battle with her health on Thursday, March 23, 2023.
Born in Warsaw on September 20, 1963, Geisla was the daughter of Chuck Hyde and Lucinda (McMillan) Dimberg. She attended Warsaw High School and spent most of her lifetime in the Warsaw area.
Geisla was a hard worker; friends and co-workers might remember her from the Warsaw Times Union where she delivered papers, from Video Plus, Smokey Bones, or from more than 17 years as a taxi driver. In retirement she loved time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was a natural caregiver with a big heart. She was strong willed, independent and made friends easily. She had a good sense of humor and an infectious personality. She liked movies of all kinds and was a protector of her family.
Sharing more than thirteen years, together, Geisla is survived by her wife, Jess Heath; four children: Mary (Josh) Gonzalez of Warsaw, Trey Bradley of Warsaw, Andrew (Fantasy) Denney of Mentone and Josh (Faith) Denney or Warsaw; 12 grandchildren: Drew, Anita, Kaylee, Savannah, Kyler, Ema, Gannon, Gunnar, Jay, James, Hayden and Reality and three great-grandchildren: Brooklyn, Kaylia and Wendolyn. She is also survived by two sisters, Cassie and Jennifer. She was preceded in passing by father, Chuck Hyde; mother Lucinda Sue Dimberg; grandmother, Anita McMillan and aunt, Debbie McMillan.
