George R. Glaser Jr., 57, of Syracuse, IN passed away on Monday, May 10, 2010 at his home. He was born on February 21, 1953 in Chicago, IL to George & Joyce (Nicholson) Glaser.
He graduated in 1971 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse and attended Ball State University in Muncie. He was formerly employed at R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co. in Warsaw for several years and lived most of his life in the Syracuse area. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of the St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Warsaw and Hoosier Lakes Radio Club in Warsaw.
He is survived by:

Mother – Joyce Glaser of Syracuse
Father – George Glaser of Chicago, IL
4 Sisters – Jennifer Glaser of Boston, MA; Jessica Glaser of Brooklyn, N.Y.; Bonnie Glaser of Chicago, Il; & Abigail Glaser of Chicago, IL
1 Brother – Kevin Glaser of Las Vegas, NV
He was preceded in death by a brother - Brian Glaser.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 14, 2010 at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, 424 W. Market St., Warsaw, IN with Fr. Daniel Martins of the church officiating.
Memorial bequest may be given to George R. Glaser Funeral Fund, c/o Owen Family Funeral Home. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
